I can't find it right now, but I remember a capped thread about some Anon having a near-death experience. He had Celestia to talk with and comfort him. It was all so real, he said, so astoundingly vivid that he has no doubt about an afterlife anymore.
After he was told it wasn't his time, he was sent back. Before seeing Celestia, he was hovering above his own body in the ER. Said he saw a clock and remembered the time when he flatlined. The whole Celestia experience took only three minutes, if I recall. The doctor's confirmed this when he asked specifically.

It's stuff like this that just gets to you. I mean, nobody fully believes it unless they themselves experience it. Hearing people swear by it is pretty close, though.

It's possibly a real experience, but if so it does more to cast doubt on the reliability of these kinds of experiences than to give hope for a pony afterlife. I mean we know for a fact the MLP ponies are fictional characters created by Lauren Faust. You can find detailed accounts in interviews and panels of the processes by which all their actions were created by writers, actors and animators. You know this. I can't really advise you whether to an hero or how to improve your life so I guess all I'm saying is don't kill yourself in the hope of going to Equestria, it won't happen.
