You never know, FIM will without a doubt end eventually...but who knows what the future holds, this is the first time Hasbro has dealt with this kind of fandom with the MLP brand to this extent, it's been a success for them so who knows what direction they'll take it to in in the future....maybe they'll do things that still cater to the same fans instead of going backwards and putting out more G3 style stuff, maybe there will be future generations of new MLP shit that is well received by fans of FIM, maybe they even just do stuff that is spun off from G4 as sequel series like they sometimes do with Transformers, who the hell knows

Maybe...I'm not an atheist, and while I don't exactly believe in the idea of the whole "personal heaven" thing, it's certainly a nice idea to think that maybe when you die your heaven is whatever paradise is in your mind, in which case it would be very possible many of us "go to Equestria"

I guess my mistake was to wait until the fandom hype/hate train was gone.

At the time, the show it's self felt no more feminine to me than PPG and I enjoyed that. From that standpoint I could see the appeal of it.
Then I saw the episode that introduced my current waifu Tree Hugger and I've been on the ride ever since.
