Don't get me wrong, I'm not encouraging anyone here to get a tattoo, I don't have any. But I think it's something beautiful. As I said, I'm not completely sure about showy tattoos, those are almost going around carrying a flag and that's not my thing. But an inconspicuous tattoo, a tattoo you have "for you", I can't not appreciate that. I see it kinda like a dakimakura, you don't show your daki to everyone, you probably won't show it to anyone, but you have it. A discreet tattoo would be something similar, you won't show it to everyone, but you know you have it and it's part of you. I don't know, I find it lovely.

I have to admit, I dropped this green after the first update because it didn't really catch my attention. and I've been ignoring it ever since. However, I had some unexpected free time today and I didn't know what to do, so seeing that this was here, I decided to give it another chance. And, fuck, man, I liked it, it's pretty good, and it gets way better over time. I'm glad I finally read it. And I agree with the previous Anon, this update was really solid.

I will admit, the pallet does look a bit fucked up. It honestly looked much better when I was making it, because the settings on my monitor happened to make it look much better. I actually noticed that the colors weren't that great once I dragged the final product over to my second monitor, but I just said "fuck it" and uploaded it anyways. The differences are small, but that pic wasn't too good. There's a larger version now on Derpi and the differences are much more noticeable. I reduced the quality a bit to post it here, original: https://derpibooru.org/1337306

The main differences I see are the transparent eye reflections as >>29245438 said, new ears, and highlights and shadows instead of plain coloring. The wings are supposed to be different too judging by previous promotional material, but it's hard to see them here. Pretty much all that was already know, but this is the first time we see Rainbow and she got a couple of changes more: the outline in her mane is no longer blue, and her eyelashes are curled now.

htpot just came out with a Dash edit of his fluttershy flash. The sound is still matched to Fluttershy's voice, but other than that it totally made my day.

Do I have a question for you guys. How would you feel about Dash is she were a male? By that, I mean take her traits and mannerisms and put them in a male version of her. Could you get along with that pony/person? Could you handle the abrasiveness of their personality? The straightforwardness of their words? The arrogance and ego they have? If not, why do you enjoy Dash and why do you think you could get along with her. If the only answer is because she's a woman, I think you might have an issue to work out and some questions to think about.

I feel like that's kind of a false dilemma. I don't like her stereotype, I love her whole personality. If the question is, would I like her if she had been exactly the same and had acted exactly the same in every episode, except that she had been a stallion instead of a mare, the answer is yes, absolutely. I started liking her long before I started loving her, so I have no reason whatsoever to believe that I wouldn't have liked her as a male. But I probably wouldn't like as much a different character, male or female, who was just brass and cocky without the traits that make Rainbow special for me.

I liked it. I would have liked some more Rainbow's POV, and while Anon's struggle with his thoughts was well developed, I feel that at some points Anon cared a bit too much about "oh, shit, he's a male now and I can't fuck him" and not enough about "my best friend is having a bad time, I must help her". But he was there for her nonetheless, so it was a good read overall. And certainly an interesting scenario. I'd like to think that if the Rainbow I love grew a cock suddenly, I wouldn't stop loving her one tiny bit.
