Back in late 2012 I'd say, I was still figuring out a lot about what I was feeling romantically, and then I started drawing Pinkie a lot, watching a lot of Pinkie related things, collecting music of her. At first it was just being attracted to her with her hair down, but then I realised she was more than a pretty face. She was everything good in the world.

As for a confession, I actually really like Hasbro, and think they're probably treating the brand best compared to other brands would have. Like Mattel is so much worse. Sure the show has problems, but I find the writers more to blame for the most part.

May I ask you what kind of things specifically? Don't say it if it hurts too much. It's just that I said in the previous confession thread that some episodes this season made me cry myself to sleep. This is totally a shot in the dark, but if you know what I mean, know that I completely understand how you feel.
Well, I mean, if your "things" were other, different things, I still feel you. We share our love for the same mare, we both have been hurt by that love, and we still love her more than anything.

The show is simultaneously the only thing that keeps me from killing myself and the thing that will make me do it. As soon as the ride ends I'm gone, without a big bang or a news story. I thought about going on a spree more than once, but in the end, killing people won't magically make me able to fulfill my dreams, reverse my time in jail, or cure my alcoholism.

Both of those accidents happened somewhat recently. First one was because of Stranger than Fanfiction. If youre a Dashfan as you say, you know what Im talking about. I was close to doing it, but after a long thinking, I decided it was not for the best.
The second was a bit more serious. If were being honest, I most likely wouldnt have been able to stop myself from actually doing it if i didnt get outside help. You see, Ive been in love with her almost the whole time the show has been on the air. When I first recognised my feelings for her, I decided that if I was going to be in a relationship with the element of loyalty, I would also have to be loyal to her, and her only. basically what im saying is that i wasnt gonna fap to anyone else I managed to hold my promise to her, and it even was relatively easy. I love her so much I dont need anyone else. But just about a week ago, for one reason or another, I wasnt thinking very clearly, and in that stormy state of mind, I betrayed her. Ive never felt so bad for anything Ive done. But the main reason I decided it would be the best choise to off myself wasnt that I wanted to make the pain stop. It was that I didnt feel like I deserved her anymore. I felt that I had no right to live after Id done something like that, and suicide would be the very least I could do to make it up.
But luckily I got help from a very understanding and kind anon, and here I still am.

Thanks for replying. I'm really sorry, I don't know what to say now. Please, please, don't take it the bad way, but for me STFF was quite the opposite. I understand why it was a difficult episode for other dashfags but for me it was absolutely fantastic to see Dash being so happy at the convention. The episodes I hated were Newbie Dash and 28PL. Specially 28PL. It was such a mean episode, it was so fucking awful that I'm sure something died inside of me that day. It's been months already and while I write this I'm still both mad and sad. I really wish I could somehow make you see the episode you hate the same way I see it, so you could like it. But I know that, no matter what anyone says, nothing can change what I think about the episodes that I hate, so probably I can't help you either.
As for your mistake, I'm glad that someone helped you. If you ever feel bad again for it, fwiw, I'm honestly sure that she would forgive you. Stay strong, Anon. She would like you to be happy.

I could write a dozen posts explaining it, but it sums up in, Rainbow was a fucking idiot. I know that half of the board thinks that she's in fact an idiot, of course I disagree. In Trade Ya she wanted to trade Fluttershy for a book. That's stupid, but she immediately regretted it and tried to fix her mistake. In Tanks For the Memories, she destroyed the Weather Factory, but she did it because she loves her turtle. But she did absolutely nothing good in 28PL. Nothing, nothing at all. If any of those anons who usually call her "top cunt" had written that episode, it wouldn't have been any worse. It's literally impossible to write a worst Rainbow Dash. That episode literally turned the pony I love into an idiot, canonically, and that hurts really badly. She didn't deserve it. I fucking hate the writer. I fucking hate Josh Haber. I hate season 6 because an episode which only exists because they wanted an excuse to insert zombies on the show because zombies are a thing now. It's absolutely outrageous.

I now understand that it was stupid of me to get so upset over Stranger than Fanfiction. It took me quiet some time to realise that, I admit. Of course, as you said, it was nice to see her all excited about the con. But while I love her so much, her love is also something I cant live without. I got really scared of losing her, and when she holds such emotional value to me, it really hurt. But with some help, I realised that the element of loyalty would never do something like that to me.
I also know why you didnt like Newbie Dash. I, too, cried myself to sleep after it, but I think we did it for different reasons. For me, it wasnt because of how stupid Dashie acted, but because of how she was treated. I wanted to punch those other Wonderbolts teeth in. But in the end, it turned out decently, so it didnt cause me trauma like STFF did. Overall, I didnt like it, because she was sad for the most of the episode, but it wasnt so bad.
28 Pranks Later, though. I really, really hope you wont be mad at me, but I liked it. Of course, everyone was being pretty mean torwards Dashie, and I felt bad for it, but even she didnt mind it so much in the end. And when it comes to her acting stupid, just like in Newbie Dash, thats one of the reasons why I love her so much.
When I was still developing my feelings for her, the final point of no return was Mysterious Mare Do Well. That episode made me finally fall head over heels for her. She did, I admit, act pretty stupid in that episode too, but fundamentally, it was all because of how much she desires to be loved and admired. That finally made me realise how much I wanted to give her that love and admiration, and to make her happy. And even now, when I see her act stupid like that in attempt of making others admire her, it makes my heart warm.

I don't think I am a fan of the show as much as I am a fan of all the fan artists/writers/musicians. I enjoy all the crazy headcanons and "what if..?" scenarios. It really bugs me when there is an obvious headcanon story or art, and some know-it-all posts a 12-praragraph treatise on how such a thing could not happen in the show.

I also like faving badly-drawn pony art, because I want to encourage the artist to keep drawing and improve, especially if they have a good concept.
