Howdy y'all! This thread is dedicated to Applejack's passionate obsession with equilateral triangles, as we're all very familiar with!
Have fun sugarcubes! Yeehaw!

Really makes you think.
What did Applejack mean by this?

This is by far the most interesting thing in Faust's bible. Normally Faust is very thorough when it comes to character building. Any traits a character has are complimented by an event from which that trait was born.
But the section about Applejack's affinity towards equilateral triangles (yes, a whole SECTION - multiple paragraphs) is different. It almost seems out of place. She eluded to some things when she said that AJ "discovered" her passion for triangles, or when she said AJ "could no longer bear" the sight of scalar or isosceles triangles. There was a story in Lauren's head when she wrote it, but it never made it to paper. Which is probably why Hasbro scrapped it. I'd be so interested to hear Lauren's take on the whole thing. Surprised no one's asked her before.

i remember hearing that she can't talk about it

I wonder if this will ever be explored in an episode

That section always did leave me wondering why Faust even wrote it in her bible. I wonder how it would've been used in the show for AJ's episodes.

I assume they'd treat it like she was dealing with OCD or autism? I can see why they didn't want to. Trying to work intellectual disabilities into a children's cartoon can be touchy.
>>29102697
Literally the first AJ episode is about her being a stubborn workaholic, I don't see how her having another type of disorder is too far fetched
>>29102712
But when it comes to Apple horse and triangles... it's much more serious and profound. Lauren expressed this in her bible.
>>29102712
Yeah but you can't argue that autism is an especially touchy subject right now. If they kept it in, they would have to work it into a bunch of her scenes for her character to be consistent. They probably didn't want to address autism in a lighthearted way and risk setting off the SJWs.
>>29102506
Why the hell is this the first time I've heard of this? I'd call bullshit but this isn't the strangest thing to come from Faust.
>>29102697
I'd see it more of her becoming slowly obsessed with it until she starts seeing it everywhere until her friends begin noticing how much it's affecting her life.
>>29102506
I remember a thread like years ago when this came out. People were trying to find little "artifacts" of this aspect of her character and it was strangely comfy. I wish I saved the stuff people were posting.
