I do think it's interesting how the fandom shipped ponies together so completely though, to the point where they're literally the only pairing between each other. That's just how they released singles back then, in a 7" disc that spins at 45 rpm instead of 33.3. I've bought a few since I listen to vinyl and it was cheaper to buy just the one song I wanted than the whole album when I only really wanted that one song. You can find a lot of them on eBay for just a couple bucks each.
