I might do a story inspired by Let it Die
Picture, if you will, a strange tower that has suddenly started to grow in Canterlot.
Its appearance, coupled with the magic seeping from Equestria, heralds an upcoming catastrophe and the landscape begins to twist into something nightmarish.
The one who will supposedly bring about the disaster is charged with climbing to the top of the tower.
Driven by curiosity and an anxious desire to subvert a future where he is hated by all, he accepts the task and is granted the power to grow beyond the limits of mortal flesh.
Not ones to sit such an event out, Sunset Shimmer and friends, with aide from Princess Twilight, seek to unravel the mystery of the tower themselves.
