I've been rewatching the show with a friend who never got into it but was never against it either and I don't see how I got hooked on this show. The first season is so bad compared to the new ones. I just don't know where it starts picking up.

In S1E1 the fact that we got The Hobbit instead of The Care Bears was amazing, but since then we've moved from The Hobbit to almost Lord of the Rings in places, try reading the Hobbit again after Lord of the Rings, it just doesn't do it for you anymore.
