Many anons here are right about the style. It would never work either being too detailed or too simplistic and 3D would be out of the question due to how uncanny it looks overall. Traditional would take too long (and I'm disappointed the film won't be animated that way) so it is probable we would see something entirely different from what we the show currently is.
