Probably not. I'd think there would be something else to move on to, but it is a possibility.

I doubt that will happen. If it did then I'd be kinda mad the other main 6 didn't get a shot at it first. I don't dislike Starlight, I just thinks she's too new and not completely reformed enough for it.

They don't want to upset the status quo with the others: they have niches they can sell them as and they don't want to risk ruining those niches.
Starlight's a blank slate that they can do whatever they want with without risking those niches, so they can make her an alicorn freely without worry
