The stats are pretty misleading.
r34 is a general site for r34 material. You're not going to get everything for a specific series. Derpibooru's count would be more accurate than phael or anything other place. One because it specialized solely on /mlp/ material and two it doesn't ban MLP material or diminishes it like some imageboards do with humanized and anthro.
Pokemon I have no idea if there is an image board solely dedicated for that material that is of decent popularity. I'd image some place like e621 might be a good gauge but then they probably ban the pokegirl pictures.
Tohou is more hard to get a hard number because it's a Japanese series.
