I am not sure if this really is an anniversary since Crystal Warlock and Crystal Symphony are, overall, different quests but… today marks a full year since I posted the first thread of Crystal Warlock on /mlp/. Darkest Hour is a surprisingly captivating and immersive quest. I expected it to be a low-end quest because of the somewhat broken English, but it's actually a challenging story where your decisions, more often than not, are impactful and really matter. The moral dilemmas during threads 2 and 3 particularly took me by surprise.
Some might be put off by how dark it can be, though. I'd say it's somewhere between Bath and Planeswalker levels of dark.

Hey Fins, I got a question. You said that the Nords basically copied Heroican architecture, so my question is this, would the Heroican style fortress differ from a Craglands fortress? If so, in what ways? I have to give you major props for your towns and cities because each is distinctly different and memorable. You can really feel the differences between Pryt and Highspire. Makes me really wish you did pure landscape pieces for TNL.

Thanks anon, I'd do landscapes if I had the skill, and I'm not discarding getting better and doing them retroactively. The fortress styles for all the northern half of the Nine Lands (that includes Heroica) are mostly similar. Think of your favorite nordic style stronghold, full of corridors and with great rectangular halls. The ones in the North have less high vantage points, as the difference between flying and earthbound races in their armies is pronounced, unlike in Heroica where it's standarized by divisions.

Okay this is gonna be a doozy to explain.

He kills a dude and assumes his identity, but the dudes son figures him out. He gains an ability that he ties to the kid, where if anyone tries to ask the kid abuot him, they are blown up from the inside. Time then turns back, groundhog day style, and even if the kid avoids talking to that person, they still die. This repeats either until the ability is deactivated, or Kira dies. He uses it to ensure no one can ever come after him, because he just wants to live peacefully. The kid is also painfully aware of each death he causes.
