I'm a computer service technician in real life. Equestria has computers, but they are the old fashioned vacuum tube computers of the type last used in the 1940s. That said my job would probably involve changing the burnt out vacuum tubes on a computer mainframe used by a government office or research lab. I imagine Twilight would probably have me servicing such mainframes in Canterlot.
