I preferred and was excited for a nice CMC script where they're treated with some respect, and not one focused on praising Spike. Just from the fact that they put him in such a position above them, I could tell it was going somewhere either excessively flattering for him or unflattering for the crusaders. Maybe I should have stuck it out to see if I'd be proven wrong, but if everyone was just supposed to think it's normal for him to be treated like he's much wiser and intelligent than them, that seemed dumb to me.
