I went out and bought the (vinyl) album at a local Rasputin's today. I digitized the two album-exclusive tracks that haven't yet been on an album: Celestia's Ballad and Out On My Own. I have FLAC versions on my computer for those who want them, but here are some links to the MP3 versions for you. Or you can listen to the YouTube uploads I made.

Whoops; I forgot the MP3 links.

Thanks friend. I need to get these from my local record shop. I have both versions of the previous vinyl release.
What are you playing them on? I'm a bit of a recordfag.
>>28956000
This is what I'm playing records on. It has a USB output option that makes the player basically like a USB microphone. I used Audacity.
I'll post the other photos I took. They're from my phone, so it might take a while. (I lost my phone's USB cable, which is what I usually use to get photos on my computer.)
It's a Numark PT-01 portable turntable.
I really hope it's worth the 80$ I paid on ebay
>>28956025
these are some nice photos but it's a shame pinkie and applejack never fully recovered from that nuclear power plant incident.
The last photo was a close-up of the record itself. This is the design on the packaging hidden when the record is stored.
>FLAC
Yes, please.
And lastly, here's the track list on the back.

Twilight's wings is still got to go and be censored.
>>28956042
I spent $17.99 on it at the Rasputin's in Pleasant Hill, California. Got in my car and drove there.
>>28956049
Where would you like me to upload the FLAC files? Celestia's Ballad is 14.9 MB and On My Own is 18.4 MB.
>>28956068
Great thing local Record Store Day had what felt like 1/10 of the US releases
>>28955984
Can you upload the whole thing in flac?
>>28956156
The WHOLE thing? Every single song on this album except for the two I shared here has already been released previously on past albums. I'm pretty sure you can find FLACs of other album songs on Yayponies.
Start your journey to the other albums here: http://mlp.wikia.com/wiki/Explore_Equestria:_Greatest_Hits
>>28956079
Oh, anywhere's fine. There's mega.nz and dropbox, for a couple of examples. I'm really only interested in Out On My Own.
>>28956175
The songs, yes, from other albums. But this album specifically was never uploaded. And this triggers my autism.
And if you're already at digitalising it, why not?
>>28956192
I don't want to spend the extra time to sit and record to Audacity songs that are already on other albums. I even checked, and they're exactly the same as on other album releases. Same length, same cuts, same edits. I'm sorry, but it would be a waste of my time and resources.
>>28956186
Would it be safe to upload to Mediafire, a site I already have an account on?
are there any hidden tracks in the label area? looks like theres grooves there in mine but my turntable has auto return
>>28956211
Nope. No hidden tracks. Trust me, I checked. When it gets to the end of one side, the needle just drifts further inward at an increased rate and stays there until you remove it. (So, no grooves past the last track on each side.)
>>28956012
>>28956025
That's a really shitty turntable, Anon.
>>28956228
It's my dad's. It gets the job done.
>>28956207
Yeah, I think so. That seems reliable enough, though I can't say for sure if somebody couldn't report it or something.
>>28956207
Mediafire has a history of removing anything that infringes on copyright. Mega.nz does this a lot less.
>>28956244
>>28956248
I'll upload to Mediafire as soon as I can.
>>28956207
Oh well. I never found the albums in flac though, only mp3.
>>28956269
You're going to want a FLAC from the CDs or iTunes versions. I understand some people really like records, but even in my brand-new album I bought, there was scratchyness and the sound wasn't as "full" as would be on a CD or from iTunes.
Two of the albums on this page are available in FLAC: http://yp1.yayponies.no/music/music.php
>>28956186
Here's "On My Own" in FLAC:

OP here. I'm going to take a break to play some TF2 and/or eat dinner. I'll copy this thread's URL into a notepad and close my browser; then come back later.
If you want to find me, the two videos at the top are my uploads.
>>28956328
Thank you!
I hope it's released on a CD sometime, too.
>>28956061
>a "greatest hits" album
>no season 5 songs
>>28956732
Well, at least they had one Season 6 song...
And there were season five songs on other albums.
OP here. It looks like this thread has run its course. If anyone wants the FLAC of Celestia's Ballad, contact me here before the thread expires, or find me on my YouTube channel or another account I have.
>>28958220
It would be nice to have Celestia's Ballad too for completeness' sake if you don't mind. Thanks OP!
>>28955991
Thank you, based anon!
>>28958259
Well, I was thinking if no one asked here, there's always the option to put a link to it in my YouTube videos... which I may still do at some point.
http://www.mediafire.com/file/8xovqi4l8mo24db/Celestia's_Ballad.mp3
Actually, I guess I'll do that now. Here's the links to my videos again; they should have download links momentarily.

Whoops. I pasted the wrong thing! That was the MP3, this is the FLAC. Sorry about that. Have fun with that, you audiophiles.
>>28958261
You're welcome! Okay, I'm sorry, I'll let this thread die now. No more bumping from me.
>>28956732
>no season 5 songs
It's a bit disappointing, season 5 had many great songs. I think something from CotLM would have fitted really well, specially since it was an episode "almost" as important as MMC. I really want to hear the extended version of We'll Make Our Mark, fuck, it's been more than a year already, I need it now.
>>28958755
I hope they're saving the CotLM stuff for its own album, like they did with Pinkie Pride in that recent album. With some extra CMC songs, hopefully with Out On My Own again, because the vocals sound a bit weird here.
>>28958807
That'd be very nice
192 kHz 32 bit FLAC rip when?
>>28956328
>http://www.mediafire.com/file/dan7wxc0zdhc54a/Out_On_My_Own_%28FLAC%29.flac
Why is it in mono?
>>28956328
>>28958305
Thanks!
>>28958305
Shit, this is in mono too. Something's wrong with the way you're recording it.
>>28959349
>>28959364
I recorded in stereo. The record is in stereo. I know this because when I plugged headphones into the turntable, I could hear the stereo image/panning, at least on certain tracks. Maybe it's a problem with my turntable's USB cord, but I'm confident it couldn't be a problem with Audacity. If you think you can do a better job digitizing this, please be my guest and find the album somewhere yourself. Or heck, if things get drastic, you can buy it from me.
Yes, I'm the OP again. Back briefly in the morning before I head off. But this thread might expire while I'm at work. Contact me at YouTube.
