I have this indescribable but adorable accent for Atom when she is in these situation based on a cartoon bunny from the 80s who was always drawn with the tooth closest to her lip spot missing, no matter which way she was flipped. I dunno like somebody from Brighton that left for the US to study in Louisiana and has freckles. An almost nervous and shy sort of tone where she is constantly afraid somebody might just dismiss her and tell her to get real, and she knows that they would be right to do so. Well that certainly helps narrow things down for her voice I guess.

How do you pull through a difficult passage your writing?
I've attempted to start a short story, but I can never get past the fourth paragraph. I must have gone back and tried a dozen times to finish the opening, but I always stop myself and redo it.
I have a pretty detailed outline of the story finished and I know my theme and shit, but the opening is toubleing.
Can y'all give any advice about pulling through something like this?

Complete and utter rambling beyond what I do here in thread. Just whatever as horrible idea I have for something, it goes down. That takes it to page 4. From there the ideas lay fallow as I have yet to get enough writing xp to level up yet.
Alternately, have people pay you to write, give them cash, tell them to only give it back as you produce, humans are reward centric, ergo make a game and rewards, part of the idea behind the writing contests.

So I finally buckled down to write my own fic, albeit slow. At the same time I'm re-reading the original FoE and I asked myself: how much of the show canon should even be used?

I think it was in this thread an anon said the fic would be a clusterfuck if written now with 6 seasons worth of shit behind it. So, should the only season(s) worth worrying about be Season 1 (and maybe half or all of 2)? Would it be permissible to pick and choose everything post S1? S2?

I figure that aside from the original Fallout: Equestria I could pick and choose other story elements to imply as canon or adjust things; if maybe to fuck with people.

So looking at Sapphire made me curious.
Just how coomon should peircings be on ponies? Raiders seem to wear spikes and their victims, but don't go around with ear peircings. How common should under the tail peircings be?

As noted by many before about sniperdog, her dock piercing is actually highly unsanitary and dangerous. I imagine no raider would have one simple because they could probably die of a horrible infection if they got a dock piercing. Which is probably exactly what happened to Sapp since Dileak rarely draws her anymore. Probably slowly dying.

Other piercings would probably follow the same logic, anything that would require a lot of cleaning and be potentially dangerous would probably be avoided.
