Scitwi is not Sunsets BFF. They have had very few scenes together until LoE and most of the time in FG, Sunset was cynical towards Scitwi.
EG would be much better if Scitwi just went back to Crystal Prep and they stuck to the original script of FG.

Scitwi is just a shitty, spotlight stealing, angsty version of pony twi that wasn't needed and was forced by Hasbro. She didn't even make Ishi's top 5 fav character list. Bulk Biceps, Flash and Timber all ranked higher to him than Scitwi.

None of it will happen. No one in Hasbro want to join thes universes together after they worked hard to dettach Sunset and EQG universe from FiM universe in the Third and Fourth movie.

How did they work hard? Honestly I don't get it. Sunset was never attached to the show and has zero references within the show. Twilight has never brought it up and the only connection was a guard that showed up at the very end of the first movie.

But she is attached to Equestria in an obvious way and they want to distance from that.
If it wasn't for Sunset, EG would be practically stand alone from MLP since the characters, other then Sunset, aren't even from Equestria.
I believe if they do start an EG show, they are gonna drop the MLP logo and try to pander to both genders since it won't have PONIES displayed across it. Then it won't scare away boys as much.
FiM isn't big in the Latin countries but EG is HUGE in the Latin countries since it isn't about ponies and it's more socially acceptable for guys to watch it.
And if the show has enough action, it will be like an anime and may attract Asians.

U wot. EqG as a whole is part of the mlp franchise. And just because Sunset is from Equestria doesn't mean she has ties to the show and the movies don't shy from her background and Equestria magic still plays a big role.
I don't see Hasbro dropping it from MLP and Hasbro has shown not signs of doing that. They still package and refer EG as part of the mlp franchise
