The CMC were pretty shallow in the first couple of seasons, with the plan seeming to be "they have these obvious talents which are their purpose in life, and everyone knows except for them! Watch them stumble around clueless focused on that until the series finale where they do another talent show!". Seasons 4 and 5 made them into amazing characters. It's a shame about season 6.
