Perhaps if it becomes necessary. Thus far the party has stuck together so there has been no real reason for it. Besides. You players have some limited control over your party members currently. For example if you want Dusty to inspect an object, shout a witty one liner or give Gem a hug you can suggest it and if he can and it makes sense for him to do it he likely will. The major difference between your control over Hidden gem and your other party members is how direct your influence is. Gem acts less autonomously and has less of a filter between player commands and actions.
If there is a perspective switch though, you will assume direct control.
