There's not much left to explore or develop with g4, and a new generation with a new world and new characters would be a great chance to rekindle the flame

Nick and Fox have been around long enough that it's hard to see them going away any time soon. Does Discovery Family have anything to sustain it besides MLP? It might need to find a new home eventually.

I meant that mostly for the mane 6, I'd prefer if g5 kept the current world and kept expanding on it while keeping the g4 characters canon, but we can't be so sure of what hasbro will do

When:
>we get some sort of tie in with all the Mane 6's moms actually knowing each other and remember their younger years (g1)
>when spike starts to grow physically, or when the blessing from the dragon scepter affects him forcing him to take action
>we get a celestia episode that reflects on her years without Luna
> we get a Zecora episode that doesn't deal with potions or racism but her background and how she was actually banished(or the actual queen of her tribe, who knows). Or hell, one of her relatives/nephews or nieces comes to visit and they don't speak the "language" (zebra rhyming)

I thought it'd end after season 3. Then I thought it'd end after season 4. Then I was sure it was over after season 5 (because they waited so long to announce season 6).

So now I just have no idea. Hopefully not for a while.
