So real talk. Now that she's solidified her place as a semi main character, it should only be a matter of time til we get an origin story.

What is her family like? How did she get her cutie mark?
(I suspect she's an only child, but I could be wrong)
I envision her father being the one she got her flair from. Perhaps he works as a used carriage salespony.

On the other hand, I imagine her mother is where she got her prickly side from. A fulltime housewife he never passes on a chance to let her now how disappointed she is with Trixie's life choices, abandoning stability for what she sees as a foolish career.

As for her cutie mark, I'd assume she was inspired by that Hoofdeeny guy and tried to put on her own show for her family or schoolmates.

Trixies mom appears in the comics enrolling her into magickindergarten . It's only for a panel, but her mom had a reassuring smile on a nervous Trixie. Her cutiemark is a sunflower, so Trix probably got her kind side from her and the boasting side from her dad.

I won't say that it's good, but I did enjoy it a lot. I wouldn't have dropped a link if I hadn't.

It is very long though. The nature of my job means I have to spend a lot of time in my office basically waiting for something to go wrong, so a fic being super autistically long and meandering isn't that big of a deal to me. If you have fewer hours to waste though, take care. There are some real gems buried in this fic, but there is lots of diging to do.
