I've had this happen to me a lot, unfortunately. At first, I thought I'd be desparate that I'd take these girls anyways...but you don't.

If you don't love them in the way they love you, they'll fall apart, and you'll be awful for it. Someone gives themselves to you entirely, and you don't love them back as much as they do...it sucks.

I remember when I first fell in love, and how I confessed, did ll that jazz...and while I took the rejection well, most people don't. A week later, another girl who I'd been close friends with confessed their feelings to me.

In my head, it made sense we should go out. So I said, sure, why not? I didn't realize the gravity of accepting her offer for a relationship. She poured her heart out to me, said things she told no one else...but I didn't do the same.

The next time a girl confessed to me, I told her straight away that I can't see me and her like that, but I'd go on a date and take things slow. It never evolved into anything, but that's because it wasn't meant to be.

I'm not. It's easier to self-insert yourself into a story that has a human as opposed to a pony. There's less disbelief you have to suspend. I also think a lot of people just like the idea of retaining a human form. Wow, this is my thread, in a way. You see, OP, this happened to me. One day there I was, when a pony appeared before me, confessing her love.
