How can you handle a character whose traits are shattered completely from season 5's ending? The only way she can be redeemed is to fully show her intent to manipulate and play Twilight and the main 5 like the sociopath that she was. They didn'the break her mind in the finale of season 5, they told her 'follow our rules or die'. What would a sociopath do in that situation? They would follow the rules until they find a way to manipulate those around them into doing what they want. It shines through in the way she treats most people as pawns and objects used to complete her goals through season 6. If she does not retain her trait and betray the main 6 at some point, she is not the same character she was introduced as in season 5.

I still see her treating most things she does throughout the show as a 'game' or 'challenge' to be won throughout her episodes which leads to repeating lessons and morals or outright ignoring them. That also leads to many episodes where the theme becomes stale. If they keep changing her to become better and she drops her personality traits as she loses that. That creates a non-realistic character and ruins that character.

To keep out of her eye of anger and rejection from society, Glimmer uses her son story to get others to become sympathetic to her, which gives her slight control right under the nose of the princess. She is able to gain control and power through friendship with some of the most important people just because she acted like a dipshit in podunk nowhere. She used manipulation and fear to control those weaker than her. She was quick to get angry when challenged by someone with more control and power who wouldn't submit to her thinking. She was quick to please that person and play their game to gain control of others under that person. She was quick to use any nessisary means to please the dominant figure and gain more positive points in Twilight's book as well as more sympathy for 'not understanding' her own manipulative ways. There is no fucking way she has changed. She will continue to abuse people either through sympathetic means or through control and intimidation. She will forever be bad.

Yes they did tolerate it. They let spike clean up the mess and were mad for a whole 1 min of one episode. Then participated in activities with her the same/next day. Only reason there was a problem in the first place was because she wanted to get the activities done all at once because to her it was a chore to do while they were genuinely trying to be her friend.

I honestly can't tell if the show staff are knowingly making a sociopath of a character or stumbled into it because they are doing a great job of her always doing what's best for her and pulling out the pity party every time someone tries to call her on her BS.

Pity is the one emotion that allows good people to let terrible people get away with murder. When they can make you sympathize enough to forget there was a victim they win.
