A virtual reality sandbox RPG game with graphics that aren't total shit.
You would be able to make an OC but the following would be blocked in the character creator: no alicorns, no heterochromia, no zebra stripes unless you go full zebra, no flaming manes, certain ranges of color combinations would be blocked to prevent disgusting taste from manifesting (sorry nu-changelings), no broken horns, no one-wing ponies, no snake eyes, no bat ponies unless you accept a bat pony color scheme, and no naming yourself after characters from the show.
You would be able to design your own cutie mark.
You can choose a range of base stats with set range limits based on which race you chose. There would also be a set of other dependent stats which would include all kinds of non-combat skills such as resilience, sense of humor, talent at specialized tasks outside your cutie mark field, cooking ability, etc.
The tutorial mission would be to bake a cake with Pinkie Pie who would have voice recorded by the real Andrea Libman. Other missions would involve traveling to areas of Equestria to face friendship crises which could be solved detective-style or by completing a challenge (such as a race or easter egg hunt or something). Combat would play a minor role. Other missions would be voiced by show characters as well.
You would have a pony house you could decorate with things you found on your adventures and the type of things you could buy via micro-transactions would be very limited (to encourage people to build a nice house by actually playing the game).
There would be a puppet manipulation screen where you could design a dance for your pony to a tempo of your choosing and store the motion so that you could show off your moves later. Alternatively you could take live control of your VR pony's body and wave your hooves around at will.
The world map would be true to the Equestrian map with live Everfree weather.

Come on man, you should make it like secret names in Corruption of Champions, and have naming yourself after a character make you that character. It would be a bitch to code things related to that character if they're an NPC, I'm aware, but it's not like this will get put into practice.
