Sea ponies are coming too. How much you wanna bet My Little Pony The Movie is a working title and the actual title is My Little Pony Friendship Adventure since MLP The Movie is already the name of an 80's movie?

I think our only box office threat is Ninjago, since that one is also based off a kids TV show with 7 seasons made to sell toys with a massive fanbase of sad grown adults who want to bang the characters. That one comes out September 23rd, but at least MLP's movie doesn't replace the entire voice cast. That must suck for the Ninjago show VA's.

I think the movie will be as successful as the second Spongebob movie: the toys sell pretty good, it does well on DVD and it does well in the box office. Not a smash hit like Frozen and other Disney movies, but well enough.

I'm hype for the movie since it looks like we'll get the whole mane six on an adventure and working together.

While I enjoy episodes where we focus on a few characters and how they interact, it feels like we're missing this kinda thing in newer seasons of MLP.

I actually enjoyed them all with the exception of that villain song, it needed another pass, particularly on the vocals and lyrics. I believe they said in the commentary that they used the first take.

Anyways, still major faith in Meghan, Jayson, and Daniel. I've been assuming for awhile now that all of Daniel's best effort have been being directed towards the movie, and I am indeed HYPE for it. Doubly so if we get shoobedoos.

I enjoyed Hope Shines Eternal. Country pop is godlike to me and hearing my favorite characters sing it is golden to me. I loved the soundtrack.

Daniel's getting a live orchestra this time around. They're really bringing their A game with this one.

Is there an estimated budget? I don't know, but are there going to be that many parents who go with their little girls to see this? Because I don't think mlp has wide enough appeal to be seen as a family movie rather than a little girls movie.

MLP is very popular not just with young girls, but a lot of people really do enjoy MLP besides little girls and us. Little boys like the show too, and the younger teenage crowd like it too. Then there's us and the parents that'll take their kids to see it. MLP isn't just for young girls anymore, and Hasbro knows this and they're taking full advantage of it.

Adventures are boring because of the constraints put on them by the TV-Y rating. If they give the writers some more freedom in the movie then there is a chance of it being a lot better.
