Paypal's probably your best bet. You can keep records that way. I have some hesitations about this though, because it involves actual money, and as I said before I don't personally want to be involved with it. I'm concerned about how you will know whether an anon who asks you for money is even participating in the christmas event (perhaps have them send you a screenshot of their confirmation email from me?), whether you will be setting a per-person limit or sending amounts at random based on how many cards a person supposedly wants to send (obviously if someone tells you they want to send 25 cards and they need $15 to do so please don't send an anonymous stranger $15), how you will avoid people with multiple accounts getting multiple 'donations' from you (I have multiple PayPals for different purposes. If you apply for the Credit card it will have an effect since it's a hard credit check when you apply. The debit card on the other hand does not check your credit at all since all transactions get taken directly from your bank account. You need a checking account and a check for that one though.

I prefer bitcoin actually, because it takes about a week to cash-out from paypal here, while I can cash-out bitcoin the next day/overnight depending on the bank/financial service handling the cashout. This is a secret Santa gift exchange. The premise is that, by participating, you will give AND receive gifts. Nobody voluntarily signing up for a gift exchange will think their partner is "greedy," not anymore than they themselves are for participating.

When you do an office or class secret Santa, you don't need a wish list because you already know the people you're doing it with. None of us know each other, so to have a happy Christmas we can HELP one another by giving specific suggestions in the wish list field. It's not a binding contract. You don't have to get something on your Santee's wish list, nor does your Santee have go get something on yours, but we owe it to each over to give some concrete ideas that would MAKE US HAPPY, because that's what we're here to do for each other.

Last year, I gave some cheap ideas and then some fantasy "perfect world, no limits" ideas. To my amazement, my Santee got me something from the no limits list. I smile every time I think of it, a year later. Give people the opportunity to be kind to you. It's not greed. It's Christmas.

Tracking is written on your receipt from the post office. If you're shipping internationally there should be a number attached as well but it's not always scanned and used to track things. If you send pictures as well of your receipt I'm fine with that, but I'm not sure how I feel about delivering by hand.
