Each Pinkie that was made was essentially 50% of the Pinkie that made it, so as more and more Pinkies star getting made they have less and less base material to work off of.
What we then have is the paint dry test, it being a test that measures a Pinkie's devotion at the cost of having fun, the logic here is that with each Pinkie clone being less and less Pinkie while replacing that personality with pure hedonism, eventually we would come to the only one which could surpass the want of fun with pure devotion, something the clones lacked.

The clones lives where not viewed as individual lives, just as something that is an incomplete Pinkie Pie, and for the lesser clones it's hard to really demonizes this line of thinking.
But as the test continues we suddenly change from challenging the life of something that is 2% Pinkie PIe to something that is 99% Pinkie Pie, it's here where we start seeing the problems with viewing the right to live with being the original copy.
It becomes clear that despite being a clone its still living its own life.
Of course though, It's quite difficult for a clone and the original to exist at the same time.
This is not an easy problem to solve, but what was accepted by both Twilight and the show was that since it was Pinkie who gave the clones life, it is her who is morally gifted with the greatest right to live. Consequently this also means that the "right to live"-ness of a clone is directly proportional to the percentage amount of likeness it has to the original.

It's not the moralist solution, but it was effective.
I really like that the show decided to showcase that quick, equally tough while being fair solution and problem solving side to Twilight, this also shows her loyalty at some of its strongest as well.

tldr; Twilight is able to make cold, morally ambiguous decisions that are also fair and effective, and frankly I find that kind of hot.
