>Time is intimately related to mind and thought and ... to possibility and probability; hence, time is as real as thought. However, we all have access to that timeless, spaceless realm where time itself is created.

>YEAR: 1501 AE
Last time on Timequest, Nero, Honey, and Luke's invasion of the Goudeau's Army base went spectacularly: a jail-break allowed Crumple and Luke to free almost two dozen of the Army's captives, and after clearing out most of the first few chambers' enemies, one captured foe agreed to send a parlay to their leader, and the agreement was met.

Onyxia and Steel managed to successfully avoid the inferno of Jazz's final attack, and escaped to find the damage she had wrought was brought to a halt by some surviving guards, who were preparing to take her away. They escaped to the Shadowscape, only to learn there were guards within as well, and a mysterious voice spoke to them over the radio. Meanwhile, on Level 1, Southern integrated a bit into mutate society with a quick hair-appointment, as she learned more of the goings-on inside the city

As your wires snip at the last remaining bangs to perfect the new look, Zeta smiles and takes a step back, "Oh my, aren't you the little fashionista?" She chuckles, "But it looks good." As you ask for how much, Zeta smiles and offers a tentacle, "I usually charge 25 bits. If you're light on cash though, I can check in with your friend..." she puts the card she mentioned in your hoof, "And, if you say so, but just in case take it. You never know."
>You see the card mentions a "Dr. Iron" with a small map of the relatively tiny town, a blinking blip marking him.

As you finish, the door opens up, and the guard, slightly disturbed looking with a visible sweat, holds a slightly melty Strawberry yogurt in his hooves, "H-hey. Sorry, call was a bit longer than I thought. Something's big happened down below: is your mutation under control? I want to get you a quick med-scan and confirm you're okay but between the earlier intruder, your dog pack, and now THIS, our job's are gonna be a nightmare tonight."

The majority of the prisoners you had let loose give a rallying cry of agreement, Circuit Breaker keeping them together in a group as they begin to tear up the Cells first. Crumple begins to go speed out of the cells, Luke and Holy Luke following behind, finding their way through random direction in the base to arrive at one of the locales you see no signs of trouble having occurred yet: R&D. Unlike the Cells, this one has blaster-shields shut closed in front of its main entrance, red and white hazzard signs plastered on the front of it, but there is a see-through glass on the other side you can see experiments being processed, and several armed guards + robed scientists huddled within.

As you approach the glass, the scientists (about 4 in total) turn and point at your approach on a feed of security cameras, and from the sides of the door pour out eight, spherical metal drones begin pouring out of two elongated tubes that stretch out besides the door, the over-head alarms still blaring out in a screeching tone as the drones zoom off towards the three of you.

>>28761174
As you begin to look torn, the goo technician turns down to look at her hooves, "It's... what's done i-is done..." she says after she finishes applying the medkit's healing. "I'm just... I'm sorry i-it had to come to this..."

Steel looks on as you release her of her bindings, the gooze not moving after you release her and she continues to stare down at the floor. She doesn't move, and Steel grunts. "Well? Aren't you going?"
"I-I... I just need a few minutes." (1/2)
>>
>>28761285
>"Yes, you have... I'm sorry to say it might involve needing a bit more damage. But it'll be for the betterment of the Dome and whomever you're fighting for. I'll provide more details in less strenuous conditions, but I need your help to expose the Master for crimes against mutantkind and the Dome."
Steel speaks up along side you, "For what purpose? Our job here is done."

>"You wanted to stop the rockets? You did. But only for now. Consoles and equipment can be replaced, pretty quickly when you're around here. The launch's been cancelled but the Dome has other means of setting them up. A week, at most I estimate, is all it will take until the next attempt. But if you help me? You can stop them permanently."

>>28761181
Twilight raises her brows, "The son of Garfield...? You mean, you think he's related to the Griffon royal bloodline... it's possible. Whether he knows it for a fact or just considers himself as such is up to debate. Having met with him in the past, I hope you'll have a good idea of how to deal with him if he takes much after him."

As you agree to the soldier's request, Bulldozer sighs and throws his head back, "Greeeeeeeat, we're playing this all diplomatic-like. That's exactly what I get paid to do, is sit around and listen to chatty sissies..." he smiles as he looks at Twilight, "But, if it means I get to look out for her, I guess I'll try and work the best I can with it."

Twilight cringes, "G-great choice..." she turns to Nero, "That soldier mentioned someone from 'The Station' being here... didn't Magz mention that was where Claw came from?"

(1/2)
>>
>>28761287
Jet and Backfire salute as they tend to their dead, the guards who came with the soldier staring them down angrily for taking their Armory as they lead Nero, Twilight, and Bulldozer onwards towards the Vehicle Bay. In the Vehicle Bay, you stand in the largest chamber yet. It stretches across hundreds of feet and goes up 5 stories high, along its sides you can see more tunnels and perched besides them hover tanks similar to the one you saw patrolling outside. One is prepped right outside the entrance to the Vehicle Bay as you're lead down. Twilight gulps, "Guess that one was waiting for us..." As you walk across the Vehicle Bay, you see a 5 storied building up ahead as part of the far wall, and various windows line each floor save for the top, which has only one, large, white circular window that's too thick to see through, though a pony's outline can be seen within. Also on the sides of the Vehicle Bay you note larger waterfalls, pouring into the cavern. An unusually large supply, for a dry canyon.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufmBdmT4eR0
You are escorted into this large building, labeled "ADMINISTRATION", and on its first floor another lavish setting greets you: gold and silver line the walls in an impressive display, along with surprisingly well-kept artwork of ponies and griffons past, giving it a regal appearance. Across the way is a set of hallways (2) and an elevator, and with a loud beep, the elevator opens up. Outside of it come two large, intimidating horse robots: dead ringers for Crumple in his upgraded state.

(one more, bad split)
>>
>>28761293
Afterwards, a fairly lanky unicorn dressed in red robes, and finally, a griffon slightly shorter than Garfield was for size. He strides in, his sleeves uncovered, but the rest of him is in a futuristic suit of armor, clored shiny, reflective black with several outlines of gold and jewels embedded along it, two sword hilts located on the back. His feathers very dark, his eyes seemingly pure yellow-gold, and upon his beak is a massive black mustache that reaches past his chest.

Looking at you three, he smiles, walking past his robotic guards to meet with you. A thick, gravelly voice with a Prench undertone speaks "Goudeau is pleased, that such fruitless combat reaches its end. He welcomes you to his domain, and," he grips a claw, "despite Goudeau's initial fury at such bold intrusion, finds him besides himself now that he knows its masterminds." He releases it, and extends it forward, "To be found among his kind... is a treat so rarely offered him. Only once, in these last weeks, has he enjoyed it, and now, as promised him, two more gods arrive. Princess Twilight Sparkle of Equestria and Emperor Nero of the Crystal Empire." He smirks, "You meet the Master of this Shade at last."
>>
>>28761277
"Sure, I'm fine now. But shouldn't I be taken to a safer location while there's some... explosions or riots going on or whatever? That, or I can help rein in whatever's going on, since it seems that the guard isn't having an easy time of it right now."

Seeing the drones approach, Crumple gets ready for a fight.
"Bring it on, you pieces of scrap!"

The minigun opens up, winding up and then firing a hail of hot lead. The bullets seem to enlarge as they leave the barrel, and Crumple sweeps the gun around to make sure every drone get's its fair share.

Onyxia lowers her head on hearing how fast this place can rebuild, not only is this dome far better off than any other place she's seen, but melting an entire control room is nothing ot the?
"Fine, I'll help. Just tell me what I have to do so I can be done with this."
She says flatly.

Nero walks with Twilight and Bulldozer as the three of them are lead through the hallway towards the Vehicle Bay.

"Something tells Me its not Claw. Caduceus supposedly fled this way, it would not surprise Me if He took up refuge here."

The king walks through the vehicle bay, looking around the room at the various war machines before setting His eyes ahead, stepping through with the others. As they reach the building, Nero pauses, looking up at the window and the outline behind it, brow furrowing for only a moment before He continues on.

As they enter the Administration building, the king pauses as the elevator arrives and opens, the machines and sorcerer stepping out, before the man Himself. The king looks at the griffon curiously for a moment, waiting for him to address them, a barely audible *snort* being heard as the warlord begins to speak.

When Goudeua finally finishes, Nero throws His head back, laughing hysterically.

The red-maned guard looks down at the strawberry yogurt, shaking his head, "I-I think it's mostly under control, now: we have one mess popping up one after another but, from what radio's given me, they're starting to get under control." Her mumbles, "Which might mean it couldn't hurt to bring a civilian along. But don't get in the way of any guards, you hear me?"

Zeta waves farewell to you as the guard takes you down a few blocks away from her salon in the mall-like city, "Name's Plasm, by the way. Don't think I mentioned that." As he leads you on through the fantastic lit city, you see numerous other mutated ponies/griffons/other species that make you a bit of an oddity in your normalcy. Eventually he leads you to the source of the explosion: a house had collapsed on itself and is currently on fire, being extinguished by some other guards and helping a few mutants out from beneath burning wreckage. You see a large, burning hole in the ground that goes down about 50 feet about 15 feet in diameter, a railing made of light cast up around it to prevent falling in. Plasm mumbles, "S-so they weren't kidding... Commander Jazz went berserk."

>>28761362
>"Thank you. It'll start with getting you guys out of Level 2 and up a floor to meet with some associates of mine in Swing City. The guard are on to the job you did with the wiring earlier and have the lifts well guarded. But there's another way up: there are garbage tubes that stretch down from the Decontamination Sciences lab upwards towards a building above. Those tubes have nothing to hold on to going up but, with your abilities climbing up it should be no problem. I'll direct the patrols to leave the path to that lab unguarded from your location..."

"You can do that?" Steel asks, "Who are you?"

>"For now I shouldn't reveal myself. I'll explain more once you're safely on Level 1 but for now just call me Mr. Radio."

>Forgot to mention Nero's +3 bonuses from last turn, so adding those to your attacks
Crumple's minigun opens up a starting barrage on the orbs as they stream out of the tubes at you, denting each of the tubes with a powerful blow but all eight of them remain floating as they zig-zag through the bullets, small rings of energy streaming out of their mid-sections to trap around Crumple's mini-gun and legs, causing you to slam into the wall (2/6) as they hover around you.

Meanwhile, Honey's spear makes a noticeable crack in the glass cover into R&D, and she sees the scientists scrambling for the corners where a few computers lie as the guards take up readied positions before it utterly shatters, "Hold it! Take one more step and you're going to get a mouthful of concentrated laser fire!"

Luke tries to swing at one of the drones as they pass by, but it dodges his bottle artfully as a ring of red energy snaps around his wrists, electrocuting him (1/5). Jean fares far better against one as it swoops over her head, the drone heavily damaged from Crumple's barrage and breaking down in one hit. As Holy Luke sounds out his chant, he throws his holy water over the remaining drones, the electrical sparks from water mixing with their circuitry causing them to shatter into pieces and explode. The water goes through the open window that Honey made, and douses some of the Guards' weapons, making them spark back and zap them, "AH! THAT'S IT!"

>+4/+3 to Nero/Everyone else next turn
As you begin throwing your head back in laughter, Goudeau's golden glowing eyes widen to full circles, and his body seizes up with a short breath. The red wizard who came down with him begins sweating bullets, staring at Nero in disbelief as Twilight forces a big, WIDE smile as she looks on at Nero laughing his heart out. She's blushing hotly, indicating a desire to at least snicker, but she almost literally bites her tongue to avoid it. "N-Neeeeerooooo...." she whispers out the sides of her clenched teeth, "I-I know it's not quite what we expected but..."

Goudeau releases his breath, eyes still full as full moons. "You find something.... amusing, Emperor Nero?"
"He's just HAPPY, that's it, right?" Twilight asks.

Bulldozer snorts, "He's probably just gettin' used to your goofy way of talkin', bird-for-brains."
"Ah, Bulldozer. Goudeau barely noticed you there. You did not leave much impression after our short soiree this week." he says with a dismissive click of his beak, before turning back to you and Twilight.
>>
>>28761544
"I'll give it to you straight: when I'm in better control of my mutation, I'm not some damsel, you know. If something got in, whether because of me or whoever else got out, I'd feel pretty obligated to stop it. How close can you get me to wherever the source is now? I'll waive you of any responsibility for me, if that's what you're so worried about."
>>
>>28761552
"Ehehehehah." Nero laughs, catching His breath, before turning to Twilight.

"The apple did not so much fall far from the tree as flee desperately and burrow through the earth." Nero says, comparing the warlord before them to Garfield. before continuing laughing.

"The m-m-*ahahah*"

"Twilight, the machines in your era are powered by electricity generated by the turning of turbines are they not? Remind Me when we return to Lukewarm's era to locate Garfield's tomb. Your entire kingdom could be powered until the Sunfall with the energy its spinning produces!"

"Ahahahahhahaha." the king says putting His hoof over His face.
>>
>>28761544
"Why didn't you tell us that earlier before we came down to this level? Whatever, we're on our way."
Onyxia says dismissively.

She steps away from the radio, walking beside Steel, but stops to look at the goo technician.
"...I'm sorry you had to see all of that earlier."
She says lowly, before leaving with Steel to the Decontamination lab.

As it zooms out, Steel looks to the goo-technician as well, who holds up a gooey hoof to your arm. "W-wait! Before you go, there's a way you can make all of this up to me..." she says through a few tears, "T-that person over the radio... I-I think I know where he's from. If you see him, ask him about a girl named 'Eta', please? For me...?"

>After you answer her, you may go down the hall according to a map you find in the med-station towards the Decontamination labs as you see fit. Along the way, you note that the voice on the radio seemed to have kept his word, and in either the Shadowscape or reality, you find no guards blocking your path. However, as you turn a corner, in the real plane, you happen to spot a pair of odd creatures that resemble the glowing Eon Beetle you fought in Pre-Hearth, only much smaller: about Steel's size, and while they hold the same glowing energy bonds connecting six limbs, they appear more like giant ants than beetles.

Four of the five guards are blown away by the powerful howitzer rounds, blowing them towards the cieling or far walls with the concussive blasts, the four still just barely standing as the last guard fires off a solid round onto Luke. The other two guards manage to pin down blasts on Crumple as well, sending the robot down to 0/4 with a pair of well placed blasts. Honey charges her blaster as well, but one of the remaining guards manages to nail her right in the wing, sending her spiraling down to the ground (0/3)

Luke's blast, however, is counter-acted by his timely drink of a natural remedy, healing him as he falls down (0/5) and negating the damage. The last guard that Honey's blast did not hit is mauled by Jean's ferociousness, putting him down for the count entirely as the scratches tear into his helmet and he writhes about trying to remove the kitty.

Twilight's mouth snickers slightly before she immediately zips up her muzzle with a cold glare from Goudeau, blush spreads all over her face as she turns to Nero with her ears down and swear forming on her grinning face, "N-Nero! Please!"

Bulldozer joins in readily on the laughter whispering to Nero, "Goldilocks, this is just the tip of the iceburg."

Goudeau's beak grinding against itself before his talon grips, and slams down against the floor he walks on, "NERO! Goudeau has saw fit to agree to settle differences god to god! Do not disappoint him in saying you came this far only to mock his divine generosity." He points a finger at Twilight, "Princess, do tell Goudeau what he finds so humorous. Plasm looks at the laser-rope separating the two of you from the giant hole gaping in the middle of the collapsed building. "I've being called in to investigate it anyhow... and I appreciate a mutant who likes to help clean up her own messes. But listen, don't touch ANYTHING down there, not all Swingers are supposed to go down to Level 2 without clearance and this is breaching a few protocols as it is. Lots of sensitive projects" He grabs at a small gun at his waist before firing it into the sides of the hole, a small laser-beam connecting like a grappling hook to line himself down with. "Can your wires pull you down here? Be careful and avoid the sides of the hole: Jazz's blasts reach temperatures you'd find on the surface of the sun and I doubt this hole's had much time to cool."

If you choose to go down with him, he explains along the descent, "You shouldn't really feel TOO guilty: I have the feeling this was in the process of happening before or during your attempt to break back in, though I guess the number of guards we had up there could have been well-used down here in return... ah, what's done is done. Master can be forgiving." Reaching through to the bottom of the hole, you find a completely devastated and melted down control room: everything looks like it's been glassed over several times from what it once was, slightly slippery to the touch and ashes strewn everywhere. "I think whatever made this happen is still on Level 2 somewhere, but we have guards roaming everywhere for them."

>Connected to this completely glassed room is a slightly melted door-way, and inside you see down the hall a shimmering, green barrier that contains a powerful orange glow within it, almost blinding to the eye.

"No, no no no. Let me stop you right there: there's no way that the suit's temperatures come near that of the sun because if they did, nothing around here would exist. A contraption that could reach the temperature of the sun would need an energy source so laughably huge that it could not possibly fit into any sort of livable area, let lone be used as a suit. The sun is really, really hot. And I have to question why any of us would want something like that in here if we live down here to avoid everything on the surface."

She makes another trap for herself.

She also then follows Plasm's lead, seeing as he knows his way around here better than she.

She whispers harshly in shock.

She slams her hoof on the ground angrily. She continues on towards the lab with a rush in her step, pulling her and Steel out of the shadows as they enter.

She looks around the room to make sure it's clear, stepping over to the chute the radio voice mentioned.
"These look like what he talked about... Give me a minute."

She pauses to take a breath, a feeling of exhaustion after a lengthy transmute after that last fight. She waves Steel over after its done, ascending the chute.

Nero finally manages to calm down, regaining His composure.

"'What is so funny is you. Your servant Magz spoke so highly of you, before I killed him that is. He spoke of a griffon who fancied himself a god, overflowing with pride and strength. So when your servants told Me they were taking Me to see the man I had heard of, naturally I had an image in My mind. Tall, mighty, cruel, devoid of weakness, godlike in power and majesty. In a word, I almost expected to find Garfield down here waiting for Me."

"Instead I am met with this." Nero says gesturing a hoof to Goudeau.

"A mortal man in the severest need of a shave, whose voice is somehow both grating and effeminate at the same time."

Plasm shakes his head, "I think it's just an expression, miss. I don't know exactly how hot they reach but, you know our Commander, he likes to claim they can get that hot. His power tends to melt almost anything so, most muties just believe 'im." As they traverse down and hit bottom, he adds, "I know a lot of Swingers have concern about his ability. Jazz's mutation basically makes his body emit an non-stop stream of sun-like energy, and that is EXTREMELY bad for the Dome if it gets out like this. But, G-777 doesn't banish mutants. No matter how dangerous their mutation. It's the one salvation in this awful world we have, right? Besides, Master built Jazz's containment suit personally. It's supposed to be un-breachable."

You successfully lay your trap (3 total), and as you and Plasm go through the glassed control room, he looks around and finds a few more guards out in the hall way after you see the green ball being carried off. He converses with them a few moments, before returning to you, "Alright, so it was DEFINITELY the group that busted in before you. Geigaro has their descriptions out and saw them in this hallway but we think they're holding up somewhere on this floor, either in this dimension or..." he cuts himself off. "Uh. I mean, just on this floor."

As you reach the garbage chutes in the back, Steel looks at the narrow tubes, "Those look a bit too small for me, how will I..." as your crystal expands and adds hoof-holds to the chute, "Oh."

As you open up the chutes, you are hit with a rank smell that permeates from the garbage lit erring the other side of the sealed chamber, but as you crawl your way up along the hoof steps above 50 feet you hear the sounds of metal grinding not far above, but it has grown to total darkness as you go up in the chutes.

The red unicorn, having stopped sweating by now and is now merely gritting his teeth, steps forth to just behind Goudeau, "Are you blind?! What sort of god couldn't recognize one of his own standing right before him?"

Goudeau's glowing eyes keep wide open, peering at Nero constantly before he throws up a wing to stop his mage, "Enough, Cold Iron." glaring at Nero as he continues to decry him. He responds,
>"En tant que dieu, Goudeau seul décide ce qui est la vraie beauté dans l'ombre. Et il décrète sa parfaite voix alors qu'il est en toutes choses."
>As a god, Goudeau alone decides what is true beauty in the Shade. And he decrees his voice perfect as he is in all things.

He growls, turning his head to stretch his neck, "Your supposed disappointment is baffling to me: rest assured, you look upon no mortal griffon, and how you might see otherwise is truly a mystery, Nero. Perhaps you are confused? No insult meant to you, but you are both from another age with different gods. Magz, long be he remembered, knew well what he spoke of, if he truly did speak of Goudeau in such terms." He reaches up, grooming one of his mustache sides, "Magz held a grudge against him for taking charge of this motley crew of rabble and refining them into the Army that now stands." He opens his wings wide, "But, if you are unconvinced, then Goudeau asks you what proof you require of his godhood?"

Crumple and Honey both manage to stand successfully (7/4, and 5/3 respectively), and Luke manages to get up to 5/5 with a successful swing to one of the scientists' jaws: not that much of that is necessary, for the crazed guards trying to hit Holy Luke end up mowing down the lot of them in moments, along with hitting the three green-pods loaded up on the side of the room. As the scientists fall, the heavily injured guards turn to look at Luke, Crumple, and Honey as they all manage to stand up again, Jean successfully taking down her guard but another of the standing ones rush over to punt-kick Jean back over to Luke. "Get off of him!" (Jean at 0/2)

As Holy Luke and Luke embrace each other, the surviving four guards look on in confusion before turning to each other, shaking their heads in resignation before they begin firing on the pair

She comments as she works the metal.
"...I suppose its good I rushed over instead of letting the dogs use Eon. Would have delivered it right to the Order."

As the stench hits them as they enter the chamber, Onyxia pulls out the one gas mask she made back in modern times, putting it on to get that berry pie scent to counter the garbage.

Hearing the metal grind, she's unsure if they're being blocked in, or opened up. Not wanting to find out when they get there, she stops a moment in her climbing to settle a hoof on the side of the chute. Black crystal spreads along the outer wall and surges up and forces all the metal on hte walls to straigthen along hte direction of the chute.. >["So you say]" Nero responds in Prench.

"I am by no means confused. Your second died like a dog, your fortress was trivial to penetrate, and your appearance is as foolish as your voice." Nero says harshly.

"But, perhaps I am being too harsh. You live in the most impoverished of all ages. It may be that this is simply the best that any man, even a god, could pull from such dry soil. Your accomplishments are meager, but for the standards of this weak age, you have not done horrendously." the king says, giving meager praise.

"Never the less, I have never heard of a god bowing down to a equine [human] being. If you would prove your divinity to Me, break the yoke of Eo Naxx Claw. Or else turn back to your 'trophies' and send down Caduceus, that I might speak to an actual god."

"Speaking of the dogs: it has been some time. You think they have made good on their promise to back us up yet?"

Your mask fills your nostrils with the scent of your mothers homecooked pie, you re-work the shape of the tunnels and continue climbing up with Steel shortly behind, before you reach an opening you're able to push forward in the tunnel. Light fills your eyes and you see a small, in-active tread-mill feeding directly into the tube you're crawling up, enclosed in a dimly lit gray room. You see two mutants, one with a long, trunk-like nose and the other with five horns, listening to a song on the radio as they play a board-game nearby on a table.

I don't know if they're hear for anything else but if they are we need to find 'em before they cause even more damage."

As you and Plasm discuss, the crying technician from before looks up as more guards fall into the med-lab where you found her, and one of the other mutate guards (this one in full armor) says, "This technician was kidnapped by them: she says she saw their faces and knows what they're here for but is in too much shock to say at the moment where they went or WHAT the looked like. Honey looms in at the creatures in the green pods, before a swift strike from within nails the Breezie and sends her flying to the floor in a powerful strike (0/2), albeit it not before one of the arms is also impaled by her mighty spear and cracked. The remaining guards are blown away by a combination of Holy Luke's howling, painful charge throwing them towards remnants of the mob outside in the halls, and even more so from Crumple's powerful wave of music, ending them in one brief burst (albeit not before some of their bolts hit Holy Luke, sending him to 5/4). Jean also manages to stand from helpless 5/2

The three figures emerge from the prod as Crumple's cry harms them as well, disorienting them as they stand to full outside of the pods. They look like segmented ants, similar to the scorpion outside and the beetle Luke fought in Pre-Hearth, with the energy beams connecting their legs. Their antennae twitch before one of them looks up in surprise at Luke's bottle smashing the floor, twitching as it rolls over to smell the scent

As you continue to throw harsh insults his way, Goudeau stands still, breathing heavily as he maintains composure and never letting the crystal pony out of his full eyes' glare for a single moment. Twilight turns to you again, "Nero... I'm not trying to undercut you," she whispers, "But, you DO remember we're stuck in here with 9 armored hover tanks just outside those doors, right..?"

Goudeau closes his wings, narrowing his slits for the first time in over a minute. "Goudeau is a god in this and ANY age. He was born unlucky to find himself in this dried, decrepit world, nothing but decay and ruin to grow his followers. Someday soon, the Shade WILL be his in its entirety as it's meant to be, but even then it is, at best, a century or two before the sun swallows all anyhow. Had he been born in any earlier time..."

He raises his head, turning to pace around to one side of the room, "You are mistaken. Goudeau DOES NOT bow to any mortal. Least of all to that sad sack of lies, Eo-Naxx Claw." he wings his wing in a wide arc, "He serves Goudeau! Whether he realizes or not is a matter of time." he looks up towards the cieling, "Caduceaus seeks refuge in this house of Goudeau. His trust in our protection will NOT be betrayed lest Goudeau guarantee your intentions... to what business do you owe him?"

She takes the other guards aside away from the technician.

"Well, the more you try to push the matter with her, the less likely you are to get an answer. Or if you get an answer at all, it's less likely to be true, because she'll want to say anything to get everyone away from her. It's a better use of our time, and better for her if we just pick up their trail from here," she explains.

Onyxia grumbles.

Peeking her head from the chute, Onyxia looks between both mutants.
("Get the radio, I'll handle these two.")
She whispers down to Steel.

Onyxia jumps out from the chute, landing on the ground next to the treadmill and slamming all four hooves on the ground. You race from the chute to leap at the guards, the two of them taken off guard at your sudden appearance as they race to get out of their chairs. Your black crystal washes over the ground and traps them successfully in a couple of cocoons of solid metal that hide their screams as they're trapped in darkness. He snarls, "Claw has told Goudeau of his Order. The only interest he ever had in it was meeting a fellow god at last through it, but other than that, it is meaningless to Goudeau." He turns out to look at the window.

"Eo-naxx Claw is a disloyal element of chaos. If Goudeau is a god, he is but a lowly demon whom any pony would be wise to distant themselves from. However," he turns to face back, "he is also our brother. Our TWIN to be precise, as loathe as Goudeau is to say it. It is but this familial bond that has stayed the Army's mighty talon this long, though it has been our rule to spur him at every turn."
Twilight whispers to you, "Is it just me or, does it seem like we know more 'gods' with evil siblings than without?"

He taps his beak, "Hmmm... a meeting of every god found in this timeline? An enticing proposal. If you wish to meet with him, Goudeau will send for him.
