Well for one, it usually requires watching an episode. There are still episodes from a year ago I haven't watched, and I've been on the ride since 2013.

I think it would be extreme if it was a generic shot of like, sweet apple acres with no defining characters or anything happening in it. But to recognize a unique scene isn't really that big of a deal. I don't know a lot of the episode names but I can see particular scenes and recognize "oh yeah that's from the episode where x happened" and find the name quickly later.
