There are lots of ways to minimize costs for you like drawing cards instead of printing, printing at a University or Library, buying cheap ass envelopes at the Dollar Store, etc. You should be able to send to several anons without breaking $5. Some anons are being vague while others have asked for things far outside the budget, so you don't have to follow their wishlist requests religiously, but f you sign up you're committing to the minimum price point. If they only ask for a plushie and you only get them a $5 mini plush from Wal-Mart that doesn't count. You can save some cash by padding packages with handmade items but overall everything should be worth $20-25.

I don't know what it is about you faggots I love about, but only this board got me to post after 6 years of lurking and made me want to leave my basement for friendship. I'm willing to go 50-100 USD on this shit for 2-3 people.

last year when i tried to send my gift, i never got a reply, my gift was sent back to me due to no delivery and no one there to pick it up. Santa Anon and I tried for a little over a week to get in contact with this person but they NEVER REPLIED
Look, if you are signing up and for ANY REASON even if its sudden and unexpected. EMAIL HIM, he NEEDS to know so that your santa can send your gift either to wherever you are going to be or to someone else if the issue is serious enough
second, tracking info on gifts is important! I never would have known my package was rejected and sent back to me. If for some reason your box doesnt make it to its destination, you need that tracking number to see what the hell happened to it
Card wise I didnt run into any issue last year, but beware if you put candy in a letter envelope, the candy may not make it to its destination, same with money. people are assholes and desperate at christmas. As I said, i had no issue with that

i'm sorry if this came off as asshole-ish, but It was very frustrated with my santee last year, I still have no idea why they never replied and why they just disappeared. It backed up the process for me and I had to repackage the whole thing, reline the new box and waste wrapping paper, move all the items over, and write on the new box.
You can only use a flat rate box once, and when they send it back you have to use a new one
On the bright side, i got to help someone who was almost didnt get a present, so that felt really good.

Last year I got a lovely package that included some individually wrapped Lindt chocolates free-floating around, which I very much appreciated, but they had melted in various areas of the package and I had to clean it off a sad little Rarity plush. Chocolate is great, just make sure it's wrapped separately and safely in case it melts.

rather what I was reffering to though was that a friend had sent those little mint chocolates with letters in a standard letter envelope. the machines which sort the papers tend to rip the envelopes if they have items in them that are not just paper. Sometimes asshole workers will even rip out the candy by hand to make it fit in the machine and tape it shut (then eat the candy themselves)
if you plan to send anything with just a plain card, please opt for the option that costs a few cents more and use one of those bubble envelopes
