It's been quite some time since I read it, but it had something to do with her waking up from a dream, and just quit recording. Anything after that is pretty much left to the reader.

And yeah, Marble felt like a missed opportunity in canon. At the very least her personality is still vague enough, though, allowing for plenty of headcanons.

Not talking at all is little bit too much for me. It's kind of like Maud always talking in monotone and never showing emotions or changing her voice, which does happen, rarely and subtly but it does. If Marble ever makes a bigger apperance hopefully she will have more of personality.

We know that Pinkie and Marble are born minutes apart and that Pinkie seems to be "taking care" of her. Helping her to express herself. That is it.

Pinkie seems annoyed by Lime and by her grumpy personality.

I also adored how Lonely Inky's blog had this very "Nine Inch Nailsy" feel about it, the color that is used throughout reminds me of With_Teeth almost throughout it all.

Let's think about Maud.

I doubt she had any friends at school and I seriously doubt she wasn't bullied at some point in her life.

I have serious doubts about her fighting back, she strikes me as some one who would fight for others, not for herself, I doubt she would use her strenght to fight others just when needed, seeing how Maud doesnot understand ponies she would be just confused why she is picked on and why no one wants to be with her.

Let's also add on the fact that even in her adult life she doesn't properly know what is approriate in social situations and not, she is fully aware she can't express herself, it must be pretty painful for people never exactly knowing what you feel.

Look at Maud in her own episode when she meets Pinkie's friends, her eyes show signs of discomfort and confusion. Especially when Dash asks her how did she manage to throw the rock that far.

It would be totally possible to write a story about Maud dealing with depression without being able to tell it to any one properly.

This was also at a time when the fandom hadn't crystallized completely and it was also growing FAST. There was a lot of openness and a minimum of cliques in the community still, which lead to some of the most amazing content and crossovers, etc.

Man, the feeling of discovering different ideas for characters and different spins on what to take and leave from canon was just amazing. I've tried a few times to get back on that whole train but most of the people who remember Crooked are doing graduate studies now or have jobs, etc. The energy and flavor of most blogs seems to have changed considerably from when things were really crazy in like early 2013.

I remember being super hyped for Yawg07's blog (pic related), but he got in a bit late so there were only 3 posts or so. Also ecmajor's bandaid story was pretty alright.

These are my favorite tracks from the album. I like every track from the album, even Everything, just like all Nine Inch Nails stuff it just really has to grow on you.

I think Inky would like The Downward Spiral and The Fragile. If she is a fan of Nine Inch Nails it's hard to see her not liking those two albums, they are pinnacles of Trent's works. They don't feel out dated sound wise, especially The Fragile where most of the album's songs could come out today and no one would know how actually old it is.

The reason why you can't really imitate Reznor's voice all that well is because when he recorded The Downward Spiral and especially The Fragile it was from his own thoughts and he was sincere, you can tell he is sharing some very personal stuff in his music ever since his first album; The Pretty Hate Machine.


He said that new NIN should be coming this year, recently he said he is happy with it how it goes. Wonder what he's cooking up.

The most recent work from him is "Minute To Breathe" it's really awesome, has a lot of The Fragile and "And All That Could Have Been" vibes especially in vocals and lyrics.
