Hasbro basically has no standards for dealing with this sort of thing.

I doubt Hasbro is the one getting sued. They didn't make the Gameloft game, they only licensed the IP to Gameloft so they could make it. Probably the same thing happened here, in which case it would be the actual developer getting sued, not Hasbro.

I've never even heard of either of these games. Do they actually have a case to make againsy Hasbro? Because as much as I'd like to laugh at hasbro being on the losing side of a lawsuit it might deter Hasbro from ever giving us a real videogame with ponies.

They do have a case against Hasbro. And this is the realest video game effort Hasbro has ever put toward ponies, with custom voice acting from large parts of the cast, and with the developer itself being majority-owned by Hasbro.
