She's my favorite kind of antagonist: Not evil for the sake of evil, but a normal person who got pushed to the edge (she seemed cheerful on the outside, but she was actually suffering under a lot of stress, which you'll notice when Sunset touches her) and felt like she had no choice but to do something extreme. Kind of like General Hummel or John Q Archibald.

Yeah, but the real enemy of the movie felt like it was Midnight Sparkle (or at least Scitwi's fears of conjuring her up). To me, stopping Gaea felt more like a reason for Scitwi to deal with her demon (I have to embrace my powers to stop Gaea so that I can save everyone, including Gloriosa).

Although, I do agree that it was kinda lame how easy it was for Scitwi to win.
