The name of the game is "rage: the game" because of the DM being constantly angered at some players inability to function, and with it he increases the difficulty where players rage and vice versa

There is some ship, specifically development of romance between some characters and the npc, but if you want some serious one, that's a thing you need to ask to the dm.
The game is about a wasteland version of equestria, we're trying to fix it by bringing all princesses together while avoiding confrontation with nightmare moon and her champion.
There is character development and background, so far two players have demonstrated their story.
If you do accept to enter the game, me and my friend are going to show you the current scenario.

I've homebrewed some racial rules for playing ponies in 5e, and I'm DMing with them right now for some people I met here.

They're not perfect, and honestly they're a bit more powerful than the standard races, but that's how it goes. It's all a work in progress.

I really dislike the OP's version because of how much different it feels than normal D&D. Also making rules for breaking the rules of physics seems... pointlessly stupid.

some friends and I are starting to play D&D 5e, we've spent the last few weeks drawing up characters. We've never played TTRPGs before, and I only just today got the Starter Set. We're not using the LMoP though, I drew up a campaign myself. I'm the DM, and if all goes well in our first session and the campaign, I'll host some one-shot pone games on roll20 or Obsidian Portal. No garuntees, though

Also, hopefully the riverhorse RPG will be out so I won't have to adapt D&D 5e to pone, or that cheezedoodle guy finishes up his adaptation

Yep. Got my horse in the core book and am actually playtesting it. Not gonna go into details (not that im under any sort of NDA or anything) but its really great and I think anyone who was a fan of the pathfinder ponyfinder books are gonna like this stuff too. The races are pretty balanced. maybe a slight bit above core races, but not many of them will blow the core races out of the water. They will instead make a perfect fit in any game. Im told theyre looking to release the books as they become available, you we may be seeing the core books, at least, soon enough. No ETA or anything.

By the way, lads, the dragon traits or whatever they're called are broken as fug. Fire immunity combined with mixed heritage for one extra immunity is a surefire way to piss off your DM.

If you say "I decide to talk to the bouncer and convince him to let me in", a good Qm won't tell you to rool diplomacy right out of the bat but will play bouncer ask you to roleplay it for everyone's enjoyement before allowing you to roll

And that's dumb anyways. The point of roleplaying is to play a character that you're not. Why should I have to successfully argue, using my own skills as an orator, for my character outside the game? If my character is going to break down a door, do I have to break down a door in real life to prove my character can do it?

When it comes to gameplay a decent GM will let you avoid rolls with a good argument or plan and avoid argument or planning with a good roll. It's the best way to allow everyone to play comfortably and it means that your character of John Johnson the quiet guy is still at least a little interesting, due to the chaotic nature of a character who rolls for everything.

but while 5e has some advantages, it's main problems are with the people who like more complex simulation aspects, not realism mind, just stuff like a condition system more in depth than the simplication of advantage and disadvantage. Also casters aren't gods, the problem with casters isn't that theyre better than martials in a fight, the problem is they're better outside the fight. At least in pathfinder, its hard to build a caster that can outpace a properly built fighter in damage, nor do they even have a monopoly on condition using or extreme abilities. It's the outside of combat situation where the other classes really suffer, where they really have nothing to do. I'm in 3 pathfinder games and I see it all the time; low skills and a lack of utility spells kills the out of combat exploration and mystery solving for them most of the time.

I would honestly prefer if people didn't smudge the Unicorns only thing myself. remember; it's not what you are that makes your character unique, but what choices you didn't make. Playing a race and cutting out a ton of options is pretty significant. That said, I'm only really refering to certain wizard themed casters. As an example, earth ponies would have full access to nature based full spell-casters. I'm not really sure what should be done about pegusi. They can manipulate weather so I guess you could make an argument for that kind of magic as well. That does put the two in spitting distance for eachother. but on the other hand its kind of hard to justify giving only one race divine (clerical) type casting since most of that shit probably comes from alicorn like creatures or creatures like discord.
