It's a bit more elegant, the white color palette.
But I still rather fancy the original colors.
The green adds a bit of that natural bug-like coloring. Now I suppose it could be streamlined, but I'd prefer to keep the green tint.

I think Thorax original color scheme would work if it weren't in the show art style. I'm pretty certain fanart and the comics can make them look better. This design definitely fits the show more.
