I think that you are making it too simple. There are more nuances than that, unlike the actual story. She's also not 14 in the story, but rather 15, fyi.

She could have had this:

I especially took issue with the number of times that the writer told us explicitly what Trixie was felling multiple times ( not following showing vs telling angle at all). Go and read the number of times she monologues "I hate this." "I love this." "I'm scared." "I'm hurt." rather than the writer describing the environment for us.

This is only natural, because the writer couldn't make Trixie's emotions flip-flop organically without needing to give too many examples that would lose the reader in length. So they just decided to use Trixie's own thoughts as a proxy mouthpiece for how we should be feeling as the readership rather than leading us to said feelings with good writing. It all culminates in the decision to make Trixie and Filthy behave in unrealistic ways mid-sex to plant last-minute seeds of distaste.

She seemed to like it too much and he seemed to nice for things to take such turns.
