Fucking hell.

I think I spotted the problem.

That's why I was irk when the fundraiser was a success.
Daisy didn't have the finical means to keep the running.

Different realities.
Literally.

So some characters get to keep their personality while others do not? Makes 0 sense.

The comics are run by absolute idiots. The movies are run by idiots. The show is run by slightly smarter idiots.

This. They see a character named Filthy Rich and suddenly their liberal biases explode on paper.
What I say might shock you, but Equestria Girls has very poor characterization.

>Caring about Meghan's humanized fanfiction
Anyways, EqG has terribly inconsistent characterization, where existing characters are forced to fit into the plot and not vice-versa. Filthy Rich being 'generic rich asshole that appears in every kids show' is just par for the course.

I'll take Winged Twilight over that piece of shit anyday

No it makes perfect sense.
Different realities in many shows have the same people ranging from literallybeing the same with minimal changes (like they disliking pancakes, for example contrary to their base character) to drastic changes depending on the environment or simply their own choices.
Just look how things changed dramatically in the ending of S5.
I buy the "writers follow the show poorly" explanation more than different universe things.

How exactly is he portrayed as a villain? Are you retarded?

To be fair, he's that in the comics too.
>Literally don't give a fuck about people and just want to run cuz "lul money trump".
It seems that way, yeah. But I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, that is make some last minute script changes from the backlash, that he was being genuine and he just had a lot of really big ideas he wanted implemented and thought he could do it better than MM. He never seemed not to care about anyone, just that he was going to build it bigger and better.
However, I say this knowing full well that the IDW writers are such hacks that they don't just drop the ball, they bend over and try to fuck the ball only to send it bouncing in their faces every time they try to write an ending.

Isn't that currently what's happening in the comic though?

Hello, Shillustrius Q.
Earning a fortune doesn't mean you're sensible and good at business, it means you're a supervillain.
Haven't you watched any '90s cartoon ever made?

>loans young adults money to see a camp saved
>wants to see if he can collect his money
The EqG Filthy Rich is a fair merchant. Only socialist kids won't see it that way. He even forgot about it in the end of the movie.
I can't say a lot about the comics but by what I've seen he want good economy.
