Please explain to me why Hasbro would reboot their most successful iteration of the franchise since Generation 1. I'll wait.

I could see them doing a CMC older spin off with the CMC, Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon and Pipsqueak as the main cast and maybe the "new" CMC could be Pound and Pumpkin Cake and maybe Flurry Heart? But seriously if something is making you shitloads of money why in gods name would you change it and consumers would be turned off by it because it's changed?

And even if they DID have a full reboot, it would probably only be a continuity reboot because the Mane 6 are MLP's most recognizable characters. Ask a little kid who their favorite pony is and you wouldn't get Wind Whistler or Firefly (2 G1 ponies) you would get Rainbow Dash or Pinkie Pie. Why would Hasbro set up a new universe if they're already making shitloads of money on one really successful one?

Because the show staff will run out of fresh ideas.

mlp has been slowly declining in popularity. The huge income is due to the many movies, episodes and games collection revenue.

Kids are growing up and bronies are becoming even bigger faggots.
Only the most dedicated fans are gonna stay.

Hasbro doesn't want kids who just watched MLP for the first time to not know what the fuck is going and give up on it.
