The rest of them aren't even that bad, but holy fuck that guy is just too much.

Chrysalis was great, glad she's still evil. I miss the effect on her voice, stupid that they would remove it.

Everything but the resolution was fantastic. Wish the main six had more screen time even if it wasn't about them, but it would have meant rushing everything else so it was probably for the best. Trixie and Discord were fucking amazing the whole time, particularly their interactions. Glimmer was good, pretty standard Glimmer. Thorax was good until he turned into I-don't-even-have-an-adequate-description-for-this.
The trip through the hive was solid. Pretty standard adventure plot, people sacrificing themselves along the way so the main character and the reformed-villain get to the final battle alone, but executed well enough, and I wasn't expecting anything else with the title being what it is. Its common because it works.
I wish Chrysalis had tried something other than just running away. It seemed a little weird that they have all the might of Equestria there and they let their biggest threat just bail like that. She could have grabbed the love Glimmy was offering her and used it to make a big explosion or something, and then Celestia could actually do something by putting up a shield and when it comes down Chryssy is gone. Not even a real complaint, just something I wish had happened.
Even the resolution wasn't that bad. The changelings rising up and overthrowing her was a decent solution to the problem without killing her or friendship blasting her into reformity, I just wish it had had more buildup. Starlight and the gang witnessing the bugs living in fear or her while exploring the hive, or a couple scenes where she terrifies them into obeying or something more than just Thorax not being hungry anymore. Its certainly a powerful enough motivation, there was nothing wrong with the reason they revolted, I just wish it hadn't been a handwave
