I gotta admit, while I enjoyed trixies episodes over the past seasons, after no second prances and this episode I really began to like her, she's just such a fun character to have around, especially this episode, practically everything she did was golden. Dare I say that the writers did a good job of reforming her without completely destroying her character?

I dunno, I am not sure about that part. Trixie already beat Twilight (ok, using magical amulet) only losing to dirty earth pony trickery so I don't know why she expected Twilight to do anything.
