Hasbro's last board meeting expected a drop, though they also noted they didn't think it would be as bad as it was.

If the Everfree super hero shit doesn't sell (which it probably won't looking at how little girls don't care about anything but the minis) EQG will probably switch to that shitty CG abominations to promote the minis, no use making advertisements for products that aren't selling.

Overall, as of now EQG is a failed investment and hasn't sold nearly as well enough as they hoped.

Moving on, I really don't see why Hasbro can't shut down production on the full sized dolls and whatever movie they make they can have Mini dolls themed around that movie. It's honestly a win win situation. The full sized dolls may have not sold as well as they liked but the Minis can just become the main EG line. It might be a transitional line into the main products, who knows.

Which is why you see some fan projects alive and well for the past x years and some projects C&Ded the next day they're released/announced.

Any project that uses the name MLP or any other trademark in it's title/name is gonna get the hammer pretty quickly.

So, the best way to avoid a C&D is to avoid using any of Hasbro's trademarks.

Where the mane 6 accomplish a perilous journey, have a big feelsy moment, go completely badass on everything, and then embrace the victory. The final scene captures the mane 6 freeze framed in the air, and then some comfy music plays over as we watch a montage of pictures during the credits. Just as the credits end a final picture of the mane 6 shows on the screen and has BFF's on it, then the book closes from the premiere, and then fades to black.

The show wasn't supposed to last this long and is a miracle it did, it was supposed to die back in s3.
