I was surprised to hear Applejack say that line, particularly because early on Faust had said that the show was unlikely to mention that Applejack's parents were dead. The two shooting stars from Apple Family Reunion were nice and feelsy, but a little too ambiguous to really hit as hard as Crusaders of the Lost Mark's ending.

I still doubt we'll ever see an episode centered around AJ's parents, but that ending made me feel like it's no longer impossible.

As of now, nothing yet. But that worries me. Whether the show eventually becomes something we don't recognize or it if it just outright ends, either properly or on a wrong note because hasbro can't make money off of it, I think the day where I realize that it's well and truly over will be the day. When I look back at all the time I wasted with this, with all of you, I'll smile. I won't regret or forget any of it. However many years down the line, I'm sure I'll rewatch the show, just try to relive some the happiness and joy that this show brought to all of us. Lose myself to the nostalgia of it all. The end of Amending Fences where Twilight finally seems to give up trying to think another party was going to fix the past and says,
