The only way this fandom is salvageable is if they make ponies into some type of genre where they can make a bunch of shows off of horses. MLP is not coming back the sae way once it ends

Even EQD shilled for /mlp/ and traffic barely even increased.
We had 9000 post in a day, I made the calculus, 18k in two.
That's 300 people posting around 30 times, let's assume they are all casual fucks that only post 10 times, that's still maximum of 900 people (but we know there are fags that post all day, but they are the exception, not the rule).
Before in 2012 we reached like 25k post a day,
that's 2500 fags here if we use the same math.

People tends to be more and more clingy when the end is now a fact and not just doom pauling.

The golden age of the show was 2011-2012, ie. the second season.

The cracks started showing with season three, and Twilicorn changed the show forever. Every year since then it's been declining.

If they want to end things still relatively gracefully at this point, then the 2017 movie has to be the end of the series. If it's not, the show will keep going on for who knows how many more seasons until it just gets cancelled.

Were do you go when the ride ends, guys? I've heard some fedoras saying "i have nothing to live for but pones" kinda stuff. I suspect half of them are long gone.
With eqg all around and porn allowed I don't think I'll hold any longer myself. Just being here becomes painful trial.

Another 2012 fag reporting in. This thread is here fucking every 2 weeks. It was in 2013. It was here in 2014, too. It was here last year. And in a year its going to be here again. The fandom dies when we let it. None the less, even if hundreds of thousands aren't on here, that doesn't mean you should quit if you don't want to. Do what makes you happy. Whether something like the horse fandom will come around again, that's probably another case.

I will be here until its very end, and I hope all of you fucking niggers will, too. <3

I didn't mean that was bad. Back then MLPG was almost useless because of its speed. You couldn't talk about the show, because by the time you'd finish your post the thread would have moved on to the next thread and be 300 posts in. It was way too fast.

The pony content on 4chan probably increased a lot when /mlp/ was created. It became possible to discuss things, and in addition to all the /b/ and /co/ people, there was also a large pony fanbase on /v/, and we also got a great number of people from Ponychan. /mlp/ used to be one of the biggest boards on 4chan.
