Stopping the Alicorn madness stops Cadance, Twilicorn, Castle and Flurry. It's not much of an option here. The show itself doesn't suffer from EqG because the two are tangentially related at the most and the movies will never affect the show directly. I would have loved to keep Discord evil, but I don't really mind how he is now, I just wish we had a good villain to replace him with. Glimmer was meh, and Chrysalis is too sexy.
