You wanna know a worse ending? YOU WANNA KNOW A WORSE FUCKING ENDING? The most disgusting trash ever produced by the sorry excuse for a writer calling herself Cindy Morrow - Sisterhoods Social. The basic premise is that Rarity is neglectful and disinterested in Sweetie Belle's hobbies and basically just shits on her all day. Its fucking gas lighting more or less, putting her down and telling her she's a screwup because she doesn't do everything EXACTLY to Rarity's liking, when all she really wants is Rarity's affection. Fast forward and Sweetie Belle has called time on this bullshit abuse and tells Whoreity where to shove it. THE EPISODE SHOULD HAVE ENDED THERE. She was the hero, she escaped her abusive sibling, it could have been a message for hope to so many people watching who are or have been in abusive family relationships. But no, no they had to shit all over them too. Rarity must, MUST get her back (typically psychopath behaviour) because the whole world revolves around her. This is where it gets really sick - Applejack and Applebloom - the two that Sweetie has confided in, side with her abuser to execute a cheap stunt to win back her affection. One trick later using blatant manipulation and Rarity has Sweetie back in her sinister clutches. And as a last steaming shit on our collective faces, Rarity finishes with "at the spa of course" and its played for laughs, even though it proves she's learned nothing and the abuse will continue. I still get diarrhoea thinking about that episode.

Applejack's "day" off had the worst ending bar none. It's where the episode went from being bad and amateurish written to being the worst episode in the shows run

It takes a serious lack of fucks on the writers part to not only waste our time with the poorly paced Spa part, but also make Applejack into a total fucking retard for a shitty joke that fell flat on it's face. It's like they watched Applebuck Season and thought it was legit how Applejack normally acted and not because she was sleep deprived and exhausted.

Even worse is that the pacing of the spa part and the hole could've been saved if it cut to Spike and Twilight trying and failing to follow her dumb hick routine in between spa scenes. That could've been slightly more comedic.

I'm not even an applefag and that episode jumped the shark harder than any other for me.

Other episodes might have stuff that I didn't like, but it was either that someone tried despite corporate meddling (ep100, MMC), it was inoffensive enough that I didn't care (most bad SoL episodes), it was damage controlled to hell and back through later seasons (Discord's redemption, Twilicorn), or it had a redeeming SOMETHING to it (S6 baby premier episode subplot).

But the moment that there was nothing redeeming about it and nobody cared, it shows. It was almost like they ran out of budget and decided to stretch a 5 minute premise into a 20 minute episode.

Prior seasons had drops in quality (after S1, after S2, mid S5) but I could power through it. But remember when the show was more than cute poners dong cute things?

Thanks to that episode, I can't. Pure cancer.

Firstly, her VA sings on Broadway, so you might need to get your ears checked. Secondly, they couldn't do the show they'd planned. That relied on Svengallop's involvement. Instead of scrambling to put together a half-made copy of the original act, they opted to do something that wouldn't suffer as much from a lack of detailed management.

The fact that you don't like a certain genre of music doesn't mean that it shouldn't be done. I recall a lot of people enjoying that last performance.

I know exactly what you mean. I disliked ADO much more than any other episode in the show, ever. Other previous "terrible" episodes like What about Discord were bad, but they were also completely forgettable. ADO isn't, the fact that they made Applejack canonically an idiot for absolutely no reason is outrageous, and I'm not an Applefag either.

But a few episodes later we got this abomination, MMDW2, where they made Rainbow Dash a psychopath. I can't forget the scene when she pranced Fluttershy, it was so completely unnecessary, it was so fucking MEAN of Dash, WHY THE FUCK DID THE WRITERS DO THAT? I was literally hopeless after ADO, but MMDW2 was even worse for me.

Just those two episodes alone completely ruined this show for me. I can't have any hope in a show with this kind of episodes and, honestly, right now I just want the show to end. I don't want to see something like that ever again.

The cart crash was a Deus Ex Machina that wasn't the fault of anyone in the race, and having the older three ponies ask the CMC why they hadn't said anything made them all look as blindly idiotic as AJ did in a certain earlier episode.

When the episode's moral was that horribly delivered, I find it hard to believe that some anons would still rather complain about how Equestria's setting is being destroyed because wooden carts kind of look like cars.
