If these "big" artists had intentions to be picked up by larger production companies to do full time character art, that would be one thing but most seem content to just make fan art for their entire artistic career. Yes, she is. Frankly I think there's only a "translation" to human culture when one is made deliberately. Like, yeah, Zebras are black people- a Zebra in real life is literally just an African horse to the point of having the same species name. But among the Equestrians I don't think there's really any races, the closest thing would be earth/unicorn/pegasus and we saw how that got sorted out. If you want to get better drawings out, mimic drawings from your favorite artists and cartoons.

If you want to git gud and actually draw well, draw from life. Draw fabrics, anatomical studies, and perspective drawings.

As for your current artwork, I'd say you show promise. You should really get perspective down though.
