If I can do it without hurting anyone or wrecking anything important, and if it'd be profitable to the human race, I wouldn't stop it from happening. Portaling the gold would be for the lulz. They have 4T drives for sale. That's a hell of a lot of data. If this was the 1990s, the brain would be measured in megabytes. It's really all in the storage-program method. You'd just need a program able to sort the data in the waves it's experienced. The format could be small too, like RMVB. You could probably get a lot of it copied in txt.
