>Every other word out of her mouth this episode was an apple pun
Well, there goes all the hope there was for AB being more than just another Apple horse
>>28385808
I didn't hear any apple puns.
Examples?
>>28385808
I guess you can say she was in a punny mood?
>>28385808
What the apples did he mean by this?
>>28385808
>"Something in this apple sauce smells fishy."
what
>>28385831
Beats the apples out of me, sounds like this fella is a few apple trees short of an orchard.
>>28385816
>How in the blooming apples did you know who we are?
>Oh, no! Poor Gabby! What the apples are we ever gonna tell her?
>Somethin' in this here applesauce smells kinda fishy.
>>28385808
She taught her well.

It's sad. Applebloom wa she smartest Apple, she hated being an apple, she was hoping to one day kill her family and move to a more civilized place where she would fit in, and maybe even become the president one day, but alas she didn't get out fast enough and applejack indoctrinated her with her Apple ways

Before she got her cutie mark, Applejack tried to do the same. She left the farm and moved to Manehatten, but as soon as those apples appeared on her flank, everything went right back to apples. Applebloom was doomed the second she got her cutie mark. There was never any escaping her fate.

In memory of what Applebloom could've been
2010-2015
>>28385808
This was the first time that happened to her.
Season 5 treated her as a very unique and developed character, with room for more development. This writer just didn't give a shit about her, apparently.
This whole season hasn't treated her very well, so I'm nervous about this upcoming episode that's supposed to be about her learning not to lie, and how they'll portray her there.

Honestly, though. I was being overly dramatic here.
She was mostly fine and in-character here, but the problem's that she's supposed to be the leader. The most thoughtful and understanding of the trio, who feels for others and reaches out to them first. I understand why and like that they let Scootaloo shine, here, but having AB as only a follower is awkward enough that it doesn't help that this writer didn't have any deep understanding of her character.
>>28385808
They were less puns and more minced oaths.
>>28386024
>become the president
don't worry applebloom
you can be any apple-related thing you want
>>28385808
>>28388769
Screw you, Apple-Nazi! She's gonna get out of this mud pony life you want her to have and make equestria great again!
