Bronycon this year had a few. Staffed Fillycon a few weeks back, and met a guy who came down from another convention the week before. I think it was BronyCAN. Anyways I bought a daki from him and I am loving every inch of it. For awhile I thought about finding an artist to make a commision than supply the art to someone who can make the pillow cases. The guy I met at Fillycon does just that, his fabric he says is like the material for bike shorts and is super fucking comfy and soft.

Unless you want to drop extra money for a convention I suggest you find an artist and a manufacturer and either drop $150 to $200 on something completely original.

Hey Hey. I think I met the same guy. Or an associate who goes by Waffles. He's from Canada on the west coast so he hadn't been to a East Cost con till Fillycon. Had pillows from two different artist. add to how easy it is, it can be surprising how strong of a plush you can make with a simple backstitch. But yeah, time is a thing, took me about 30-40 hours of doubble backstitching before i was finished.

But god... the reward is more then worth the time. Knowing that you did something fun, knowing that you made a plush pony, and that you have a plush pony that is yours with 100% of your heart and love put into it is something that you just can't buy. I'd sooner trash my shelf of colectables with the $350 perfect grade gundam model then give up that plush.

Does anyone know of a place where I can get a regular size pillow case custom printed? I've looked and found a few places that let you do one side of a pillowcase or add a picture that doesn't cover the entire cloth, but I haven't been able to find anyplace that will produce high quality printed cases like you find with the dakis for regular size pillows.

You can commission it or make it, the plush i made had an option to have a hidden compartment for a fleshlight.

Easy enough with the compartment and fleshlight, the only real concern is getting any "mayo" on the body, and it can be cleaned easily enough if done right away.

The plush threads usually have the guide or places you can buy from, but the price is like $300+?

as for flexability, it depends on how you make the plush or have it made. generally they are fairly flexible and suprisingly durable when you backstitch. Though, it is reccomended you do a test run once you finish the body, so you can fix things before attaching the head.

A daki? Can't find a way to have sex with mine as much as I want to. I own fleshlights, but I couldn't find a way to keep them from moving.
