I like my hot coffee as black, dark, and nasty as it comes. I like my iced coffee with all the milk and sugar you can put in it.

I like smokey teas (my absolute favorite being lapsang souchong), with a decent amount of sugar. No milk, you fucking Limeys.

Also, sweet tea is fucking disgusting, you fat Southern fucks. If I want cold sugar water, it better be carbonated.

I enjoy black coffee but will drink it pretty much anyway because I am not a pretentious fuck.

I'm more of a water guy myself, actually. I never quite got into coffee and the smell of tea makes me gag.

Coffee - I either drink some sort of coffee with milk and a lot of sugar, or drink 3-4 shots of espresso. Sadly, caffeine has really weak effect on me.

Tea - lately mostly milk tea. I also enjoy fresh hot black tea with lemon. I like it only a bit sweet (one teaspoon of sugar for a 200 ml mug). Also enjoy matcha from time to time, aside from that - not really fond of green tea.

If I want coffee I make it Turkish way, dark or extra dark roast(pic related is my favorite). For tea I have a small ceramic teapot that has volume just enough for one cup, I prefer simple black tea, sometimes Earl Grey.

Generally just black coffee, sometimes I'll add sugar but if I'm going to dress it up I'll add brown sugar cream and whiskey.

Whenever I drink tea, I drink it without sugar. I find it disgusting with sugar. I barely drink tea anyway, so whatever.

On the other hand, I drink coffee since I was 3. I like it in any way: white coffee without sugar, white coffee with sugar, black without sugar, black with sugar, cappuccino, latte, etc. I drink about 4 glasses of coffee per day.

Coffee for up time
Tea for down time.

I prefer tea, but drink coffee on the regular as well. Thing is, I'm a total snob with both. I prefer coffee black, if possible espresso with lemon twist or in the evening anisette, but if I'm getting something from a store or second rate coffee joint I'll add milk unless I hate myself more than usual that day. Never sugar. In terms of tea, oolongs are my favorite, but a good quality tea of any description; white, black, green, pu'er and all the rest is always welcome. Usually make it gong-fu style, or just strain the leaf through my lips. Only add stuff if it's a western style blend in a western style setting, but that's rare for me. A strong Irish or English breakfast with honey and a bit of milk can really hit the spot, even if it isn't nearly as good as the Chinese blacks I usually prepare. Masala Chai is also delicious when done right. It's a pleasant and easy beverage to prepare too, great for company.

Generally though, tea for me is almost a ritual, while coffee is a pragmatic affair.
